GOLD AND SILVER MEMBERSHIP REWARDS PROGRAM

It is the intent of the OSU Alumni Club of Franklin County to recognize members who
regularly participate in club activities, assist officers and chairpersons in their duties,
and otherwise contribute to the organization.

Once a level is attained the member will be recognized in the following monthly club
meeting.

ELIGIBILITY:
• Must be a current dues paid member
• All members, associate members, officers, and chairpersons are eligible

POINT CALCULATION PROCESS:
• The membership rewards program will run each year from May 1 to the following April 30.
• Each person who attains a new level will be recognized at the monthly club meeting
• Everyone will start with a clean slate (back at zero) at the beginning of each cycle (May 1)
• Points will be earned on a scale of 1 thru 5 and will be distributed according to the criteria listed (on back of this page)

AWARD:
• Gold level - earn 40 points in one year
• Silver level - earn 25 points in one year

MEMBERS WHO ATTAIN GOLD OR SILVER LEVEL WILL RECEIVE:
• OSU Alumni Club of Franklin County membership card with club status noted
• Priority notices by award level for athletic tickets when number of tickets are low or demand is high
• Recognition at Annual Banquet
• Gold members are members of the Board of Governors and qualified to vote for Honorary Lifetime Membership
• Other prizes or rewards as available and/or appropriate

MANAGEMENT:
This program will be managed by the Membership Chairperson and Vice President.

POINT SCALE
Points will be earned on a scale of 1 thru 5, and be distributed on the following basis (If questions, please notify VP for point clarification):

1 - point activities:

Attending a meeting
Attending a social event
Being a member of OSUAA
Paying for an event online
Submitting a newsletter article
Submitting a relevant item to the historian
Completing a survey for the club
Being a participating member on a committee
Donating any item(s) to a silent auction (1 point no matter how many items are donated)

2 - point activities:

Recruiting a dues-paying member
Attending a club networking event

Paying dues between July 1 and July 31st each year (early payment also counts)

3 - point activities:

Having a new member you recruited attend 3 events
Serving in an appointed position (Historian, Webmaster, Fundraiser, Communications, etc.)

4 - point activities:

Hosting a club activity
Serving as a committee chairperson (i.e. Social, Scholarship, Community Service, Membership, etc.)
Being actively involved in a community service or scholarship event (such as Application Reviews, Interviews, School Counselor contacts, Picnic)

5 - point activities:

Serving as an officer of the club
Being in charge of a Community Service or Scholarship Event
Winning an award from the Alumni Association
Winning a lifetime membership in the OSU Alumni Club of Franklin County
